That's most of the job. Cracks, damp, old flaking paint and uneven plaster all get dealt with properly before any paint goes on. It is what decides whether the finish lasts.
How much does it cost?+
It depends on the surface more than the size. Sound walls needing two coats is a different job to one with cracks or damp that has to be fixed first. Send me dimensions and a few photos for a real, itemised quote within 24 hours.
